I’m an enthusiastic scientific journalist and elearning specialist with a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages and Literature and a Master's in Science Communication, an experienced Press Officer for various Science conferences as well as for literary and cultural events.
An internship at TG Neapolis at RAI 3 sparked my interest in the world of Internet Communication and New Technologies and since then my working life has been devoted to scientific communication and digital education. In 2007 I started collaborating with the Federica Web Learning (www.federica.eu), Centre for innovation and experimentation in multimedia and distance learning of the University of Naples Federico II, where I’m responsible for media management and I’m involved as project manager in content management and research in the field.
In my work as a program manager of online education programs and MOOC’s development, interest in science outreach has been a key element in the design of complex initiatives such as the ones devoted to university orientation and socialization to robotics, contributing to the dissemination of an increasingly open culture. I also co-head the Orientation sector at Federica, and have published widely on the subject, with a focus on policy and operations for bridging the school-university gap.
I have also worked as a part of the team that designed, presented and managed the EMMA EU project (www.europeanmoocs.eu).
